Writing an Essay
There are many things I would change about this lesson plan if my mentor teacher and I had more time. The first thing that comes to mind is to make more time to conference with each student.

1984 Cumulative Assessment
This is the Unit Project for 1984, where students get to being in a position of power and roleplay as the very people who may control Winston's life.
Supporting Structure
During my internship I had an assignment with which I had to teach a series of Grammar Lessons. First, I researched the deficiencies of my students, by looking at their college essays and identifying several areas where students may improve, before creating a plan to tackle structure.

Over the course of my internship, I have revised and revised this unit project to make it impactful to my students. Especially with current events, this book becomes one of the most important things to read, review, and learn from.
